Most people hate this game because of its controls. It gives you a hard challenge but some people can’t handle it so they give 1 star. This is is actually very fun and I would give it a 10/10. Do not listen to the 1 star reviews and try it for yourself.

There is no instructions what so ever

Coded by kooks to surf like kooks. They have no clue how to generate speed off of anything but the rails. Won’t let you engage your fins. Game plays like these huge volume boards couldn’t stay afloat unless on the lip of the wave going down the face. Somebody who actually knows how to surf, please remake this game and show these kook coders how it’s done cuz.

Most of the horrible reviews are due to the lack of info on how to control the game. It’s pretty frustrating. Turn by tilting your device. Change views by clicking near the top of the screen. When the run starts, you don’t paddle. You tilt hard and do a weird 360 to get on the face of the wave. Continue carving by tilting. That’s all I’ve figured out so far.

I have been trying to get speed to get the wave but I can’t seem to find how it seems like a fun game but I don’t know how to get speed the game need to giveaway tutorial on how

I think this game definitely needs a update every time I go in the tube it glitches too much I love this game please put some heart into it.

Coming from true surf to this is just sad. If u think this is fun well then You’ve never played an other game. It is complete dog poop waste of time. This was more fun to write then playing that game! It’s soooooooooooooooö BAD

This game is absolutely terrible. The graphics are remind me of clip art and the gameplay is NOT EVEN CLOSE to resembling a knock off version of a surfing game, it makes 0 sense and should be taken off the store.

Way better game, online multiplayer, and you don’t have to pay to play. It’s also designer better and has a much more involved game mechanics. The interface looks like a kindergarten art project, no instructions, and overall just feels cheap and poorly done. I get how to surf, tried pumping down the line, and fell after 2 seconds every time.

Coming from a person who’s played it since it first came out, I prefer the old version. Of course it’s not supposed to simulate a real life surf experience, but there was nothing wrong with the old physics engine. You could grab the board too. I spent $2 for the surfing locations, and was upset that the developer removed them from the selection. I think there was no reason to do this in the update. Finally, there were boards to choose from. Foamy, factory stock, carbon fiber, I had all of them. This is self explanatory during gameplay. I think this game is great, but it would be even BETTER if these factors in the old version were implemented into the newer one. If not, you could just re-upload the older version of the app. I’m completely open to help on the development of this game, and would be happy if my thoughts were taken into consideration. Until anything happens, I won’t be updating my rating to 5 stars.

This game is cool but I want the old version of surf or die with the green boat and the other surfing boards the old version of surf or die ancient surfer can we please get that version back please I like the current version a little bit but not much but I really really want the old version back please!!!!!!!!!

So. This game is really fun. You are supposed to go like zig zag down the wave then when the we is full go up to the tap and tap the board and it's like your catching air. And you can get points by beating your high scores and the points get you new boards. This isn't even a fake review. I'm a boy who really likes this game. Maybe if the graphics were better too. That'd be nice.

I have no clue how this game is supposed to work. I surf. ALOT and I have never in my life been in front of a wave and lost speed and wiped out. The 'barrels' are terrible and there are no freaking instructions on how to actually succeed at this game. Don't waste your time. Find a different surf game.

I bought the full version if surf or die but whenever I try to play it it said " it will be restored for free" but it doesn't get restored. The free version is still fun and you can still unlock all of the boards.

As soon as the game starts do a 360 to catch the wave. You almost run out of speed but you have to time it. Can't pass the barrel or you wipe out. High score never updates. Very limited but kinda fun

So I really do love this game! It's a great way to past the time but I have one really big problem with this app and the company who made it. I downloaded this game a couple years ago and I bought the extra maps. I recently redownloaded the game and to my surprise it's asking me to buy the extra maps again. I lost the extra maps that I had previously bought. If anyone could help me with this problem I would really appreciate it!!
